Finally got the new bike. Now it is time to do some riding. I have put about 300 miles on it riding around San Diego county but now it is time for a little longer ride. Going to head out to Palm Springs then down past Salton Sea up through Julian and back home. Looks like about 300 miles. Nice day ride. My brother and one or two others said they would like to join me on this little jaunt. The bike should be ready for the 600 mile check up after the ride. Once that is completed I can take a loop of California ride in preparation for heading back to the BMW Rally in July. There are still 3 states in the union that I have not ridden in and I want to pick them off this summer.More to follow...
